The suspense was making me sick,
When I got to the gym, I started to lift,
I said “Damn” and dropped the weight from my hand,
I was doing it wrong, and trying to understand.

Without any further ado, let’s get started..
N.W.A. Tip Of The Week
I have never discussed politics in my newsletter, and I never will.
Today is no exception to that.
At the same time, in 2026, everything is politicized and designed to cause us to become divided and fight against each other…
But I still promise… today’s topic is not a political one.
I also want to start by saying I have no ill will against the LBGTQ+ community.
I have friends and family members who are gay.
I have friends and family members who are lesbian.
I have family members who are trans.
I was even a groomsman in a good (male) friend’s wedding to his husband.
To each their own; what you do in your life has no bearing on me, nor should it.
Live and let live, whatever makes you happy!
That all being said, it’s mind boggling to me that as a society we are still debating if guys-turned-girls should be able to participate against girls in sports.
Recently, the WNBA has seen all kinds of controversy.
I’m sure you’ve heard about it.
There are a few, controversial players saying trans women shouldn’t be allowed to play against biological women.
Most of the other players and coaches are disagreeing, saying trans women should be allowed to play against biological women.
As a response, former NBA players like Enes Kanter Freedom declared “okay then, I’m a girl” and filed for WNBA draft eligibility.
The whole thing was a huge mess, and it’s completely ludicrous that it’s come to this.
But the headlines have also brought the topic back to the forefront.
Which is a good thing, as a whole.
Because we need to bury this stupid debate forever; it’s supposed to be a “90/10” issue, but that 10% really seems to be vocal…
The real issue isn’t the WNBA, either.
The WNBA is a league full of grown adults.
The real issue is the local high schools and college universities where this keeps happening.
It’s a genuine travesty female athletes in high school and college continue to be subjected to this insanity.
There are countless reasons why people born male shouldn’t be allowed in girls’ leagues.
The most obvious reason is they’re bigger, faster, and stronger than people born female.
This gives them a distinct advantage over girls.
This isn’t debatable – it’s a biological fact.
It doesn’t even matter if they start hormone blocking medications at a young age; once you are born a male with both X and Y chromosomes, you will always have more muscle mass, bigger/stronger bone structure, and a physical advantage against girls.
Whenever elite female athletes have competed against mediocre male athletes, the biologically female athletes lose.
Badly.
The Williams Sisters – the best female tennis players of all time – once played an exhibition match against Karsten Braasch, a male player (ranked 202 in the world) from Germany.
Karsten smoked the talented sisters, 6-2 and 6-1 in two straight sets.
The U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team – The World Cup Champions and best female soccer team in the world – squared up against a 15 year old boy’s soccer team from Dallas.
The 15 year old boys beat the best women’s soccer team on earth 5-2.
Then, of course there’s the infamous story of Liam Thomas, the Penn University swimmer who spent his first 3 years swimming against boys, before transitioning to “Lia” and joining the girls’ swim team.
She went from being an average swimmer against boys to the National Champion against girls (technically, she tied for first with Kentucky swimmer Riley Gains, but the trophy was given to Lia so as to not be transphobic).
Boys hold a physical advantage over girls.
Period.
Anyone who denies this isn’t debating in good faith.
There have been numerous stories about biological males injuring the girls they’re playing against as well.
Take the story of Payton McNabb, a girls’ high school volleyball player from North Carolina who went up against a biological male-turned-female.
The trans female spiked the ball during a match and hit Payton in the head.
The ball was hit so hard she was knocked unconscious, she was partially paralyzed, and she has had a litany of health issues ever since.
Now… this should be enough.
You shouldn’t need any more reasons why people born male should not be playing against girls.
It should be ‘case closed’…
But there’s another reason I want to discuss.
It’s a reason you usually don’t hear anyone talking about.
It’s a bit of a personal reason for me – one I hold very close to my heart.
For every trans girl who makes a women’s sports team, there is an actual girl who was cut from that team, effectively ending her career.
I have 2 daughters that play sports; they are 16 and 14.
The 16 year old, Brooklyn, plays volleyball and is entering her junior year of high school.
The 14 year old, Ava, plays basketball and is entering her freshman year of high school.
Both girls are above average players.
But neither girls are “studs”, so to speak.
They are not the type of girls who show up and on Day 1, it’s obvious they’ll be on the varsity roster as freshmen.
They both have to work hard, develop their skills, get better, beat out other girls, and wait for a varsity spot to open up.
Brooklyn is a prime example.
She just had volleyball tryouts for the varsity team, and she made the team for the first time as a junior.
We are thrilled by this, and we are very proud of her; she has worked relentlessly for 5 straight years for the honor of playing for her high school varsity team.
But admittedly… her making the team was far from a sure thing.
Our whole family was sweating it out until the final day of tryouts.
Brooklyn had to beat out 2-3 other girls for the final spot on the roster – there was an open position in the rotation as a right side hitter.
What would have happened if a 6 foot tall dude rolled into tryouts and said “I’m a girl, and I play right side”?
What would have happened if no adults had enough courage to stand up and say “Hey wait a minute, this isn’t fair?”
That final spot would have been gone.
A person born a male would have stolen the last spot from my daughter.
Something Brooklyn had worked tirelessly towards for years would have been ripped away from her because adults are so scared of being called “transphobic” that they forgot to protect actual girls.
Her volleyball career would have been unceremoniously ended via a massive injustice.
Now… a test for you… did you just read that last part and say to yourself, “Come on Jason, this is insane, that never happens!”
Oh, really?
It never happens?
You sure about that?
Consider the case of Skyline High School.
Ann Arbor is right down the street from us; Skyline is a public high school in their district.
Brooklyn’s volleyball team played them last year.
They had a biological male-turned-trans-girl on their team.
(“But how do you know she was born a male” — come on, don’t play that game, everyone knew. It wasn’t exactly a secret – tap the link above to read about it.)
So that means, at Skyline High School, there is a girl out there somewhere who was the last girl cut from the team.
All because a guy decided he was going to identify as a girl, and tried out for the volleyball team as one.
Not to mention the fact that this person made All-Conference Honors.
Yet another case of a biologically born male taking an award away from an actual female athlete.
It’s disgusting.
In trying to be “inclusive” to all, the Ann Arbor District is completely screwing over actual girls who play the sport and pretending like doing so makes them virtuous.
I’m not sure what it’s going to take for this insanity to end.
Maybe it will take a biological girl getting killed by a trans girl during a live sporting event before the adults in the room take it seriously and ban this nonsense.
Politics aside, it’s flat out wrong to have people born male competing against women.
But in the world of partisan politics, when “your side” has a certain stance, it’s heresy to go against the grain.
Just remember – every time you see a trans girl playing on a girl’s team, there’s an actual girl out there who was cut.
That girl had her dream of playing high school or college sports shattered and tossed aside like yesterday’s garbage.
Screw her though, right?
Who cares about her?
We must protect the trans athletes!
We can’t be phobic!
And let’s be clear about something – this isn’t the fault of the trans girls.
At ALL.
They are just athletes who want to play the sport they love.
You can’t fault them for that.
Anyone in their shoes would do the same thing.
This is the fault of all the adults who allowed this to keep happening without stepping in.
It’s the fault of the Coach who intentionally picked the trans girl to play on the team.
It’s the fault of the Athletic Director at the school who sat idly by without speaking up.
It’s the fault of the Principal who never brought the AD aside and said, “we need to put a stop to this”.
It’s the fault of the University Presidents who are so worried about not offending anyone that they just bury their heads in the sand and ignore it.
And also, it’s the fault of all the parents in the stands who don’t have the courage to stand up and say “enough is enough”.
99% of humanity understands and knows how dumb and silly this all is.
Not to mention dangerous.
But everyone bites their tongues out of fear of retaliation of the extremist few.
Until this changes, and as a society, we regain our ability to tell kids, “Yeah, sorry kid, I don’t think so”, we’ll remain stuck in these strange, muddled messes and bizarre social justice issues.
If you’ve been struggling to reach your fitness goals for years, why haven’t you joined my team yet?
