Howdy. Jason here.
Just wanted to give you a short post on my recent annual physical.
A little over 2 years ago, I began intermittent fasting. I haven’t looked back.
And although I was fairly certain it was the right call, health wise, you never know.
I started consuming fat by the boatload. Many of my meals topped 2,000 calories.
I promised The Boss (my wife) I would get yearly physicals to ensure proper health.
After all, what’s the point if it isn’t making me healthier over time.
I recently had blood work done. Here’s the results.
The numbers are from 2012, 2013, and 2014, in chronological order.
Blood Pressure:
112/70……120/76…..118/74….standard (<120/80)
Weight:
246………230……247
Total Cholesterol:
172…..162……148…..standard (<200)
HDL:
46….66……62………standard (>60)
LDL:
110…..84…….74……..standard (<130)
Triclycerides:
78……61……60…..standard (<150)
Blood Glucose:
99……95……92…….standard (<100)
So, there it is. All the proof I need. After consuming over 2,000 eggs, over 200 pounds of beef, and over 25 pounds of bacon……..my numbers are better than ever.
And The Boss is happy. Which is good. If The Boss ain’t happy, then nobody’s happy………
