Everything? You’ve tried everything? B.S. You haven’t tried everything. Okay, maybe you’ve tried every gimmick. Every powder. Every pill. In 3 week increments.
Maybe you’ve bought every infomercial. Every cream. Every body wrap. Every supplement. Every protein powder.
You’ve gone low fat. No fat. Low carb. No carb. Gluten free. Vegan. GMO. Organic. Flax seed oil. Goji berry. Raspberry ketone. Ketogenesis. Atkins. Jenny Craig. Weight Watchers. Nutrisystem. P90x. Insanity. Jillian Michaels. Wheat Belly. Paleo. Free-radical. Green tea extract…………..
What. The. Bloody. Hell.
Shut up. Seriously. Shut your mouth. Cry me a river. You’ve tried everything? Everything? Everything there is? I don’t believe you. Not for one second. There’s not one single shred of my entire being that believes for one single second that you’ve tried every damned thing on the planet.
And I’m not buying your story. What a complete line of horsecrap. You can’t lose weight? Whatever. You can lose weight. It’s not your genetics. It’s not your metabolism. It’s not your environment.
It’s you.
Own it.
If you’re gonna make ridiculous excuses as to why you can’t do this thing and finally get lean and healthy, then at least make the right ridiculous excuses.
Don’t blame your upbringing. Your family. Your kids. Your friends. Your busy lifestyle. Your genetic predisposition.
It’s you.
You’ve tried everything? Have you tried tracking the food you put into your stomach? Have you set an exact number of calories and macronutrients for your current activity level and adjusted that number after a few months of consistent dieting?
Have you tried eating whole foods? Foods that don’t have nutritional labels? Foods that come in bags instead of boxes? Foods that have been around for thousands of years? Foods that have provided energy and nutrition for hundreds of generations and have stood the test of time?
Have you tried saying no? Not giving in when others have tried shoving processed garbage down your pie hole? Have you tried this? Really? You have?
I call B.S.
There’s no way. No way you’ve tried that. You haven’t tried that. You haven’t tracked your intake. You haven’t maintained a caloric deficit for months on end, grinding away, while refusing to give up.
No. Way.
Because if you HAVE tried that….and it didn’t work……..
……….You’re the first. The very first person. The first individual in all of human existence to meticulously track all of the calories which entered your body, adjust those calories as necessary……..and still not lose weight………..
So, that must mean………….
………..that you’re one, big liar.
So stop it.
Just stop it.
Stop pretending. Stop lying. Stop fooling yourself.
Stop reading this post and feeling sorry for yourself.
It’s time to SNAP OUT OF IT.
You know what will work.
So why don’t you do it already.
It’s all right here for you.
It’s all on this very site.
There’s no more excuses. No more wouldas. Couldas. Shouldas.
You know what you have to do. You know what will work. Stop looking for shortcuts. There are no shortcuts.
Not in health. Not in fitness.
And not in life.
Since when has the easy way out ever been the best way of doing things?
Today is Day One. Circle today’s date on your calendar. It’s your start. Your beginning. The birth of something new.
Something real. Something exciting. Something worthwhile.
Because you’re worth it.
So stop with the B.S……….YOU’RE WORTH IT.
And it’s time to start acting like it.
